Smyth Companies, Inc., a label printer based in Minnesota, has been doubly honored by Flint Group-Narrow Web for superior printing. Smyth submitted two projects for consideration in Flint’s 4th Annual Print Awards which recognize excellence in narrow web printing.
The winning entries were a shrinksleeve label that Smyth printed for The Dial Corp., and a promotional label printed for Coors Brewing Company. Submissions were judged by a panel of print industry experts based on strict criteria, including; registration, smoothness of dot/vignette, overall print quality, and degree of difficulty. The awards were presented in October at the Labelexpo 2008 trade show
in Chicago.
