Nilpeter UK has appointed Michael Waterman as the independent sales agent covering the Irish Republic and Northern Ireland. The arrangement, which took effect from 1 March, covers the FA-Line and FB-Line of UV-flexo presses, as well as the MO-series of offset platform presses, for producing labels and packaging.
The appointment is intended to increase the company's relatively strong presence in Ireland, which - with around 80 converting companies - has been one of Europe's most active regions for a long time. The traditional growth sectors are self-adhesive labels for food producers, dairy products and the pharmaceutical industry Michael Waterman has extensive sales and support experience in key sectors of the narrow-web market. Before forming his own company, he represented Comco (through Edlon Machinery). He currently assists A B Graphics International, Gerhardt International, GEW, and Sandon Global with their Irish sales activities and is the European manager for Stanford Products.
