Edale & AGFA back IPEX 2010!

Edale Ltd’s participation in this years IPEX event, held at Birmingham NEC from 18-25 May 2010, is vital in the company’s new growth and brand awareness strategy.
Edale’s main objective is to build on the key brand messages and selling points and to demonstrate their knowledge and experience in the four distinct areas of operation – Commercial Security, Flexographic Printing, Speciality Converting and Digital Printing.

With such vast product lines and the company’s ethos of providing bespoke machines to individual customers’ requirements, Edale won’t be showing the individual machines on the stand, but instead, there will be a wealth of information on the full product range; Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Lambda – and the newly launched Alpha-Multi, available to take away from the stand as well as product samples. The Sales & Marketing team will be on hand to offer a wealth of information and experience in answering any questions – whether from current – or prospective customers.
With a background which started primarily in developing flexographic machines ideally for the labeling industries, the past ten years have seen Edale steadily broaden their technological capabilities and this is demonstrated in the design of more and more high tech machines capable of producing prepaid scratch cards – primarily for phone or lottery companies, and RFID-insertion machines, of which many have been custom-built and installed into various commercial security businesses over the last ten years.

Also, exhibiting and demonstrating the capabilities of an Edale machine are AGFA who will be showcasing the digital :Dotrix Modular System. The Single Pass Inkjet Colour Engine (SPICE) of the :Dotrix Modular is integrated in Edale's expertise in narrow and medium flexo web press design.

Also on show at the AGFA stand will be the new Edale servo driven variable length sheet cutter which visitors will get to see in action, this new machine - a first for Edale, allows for jumbo rolls of plain or pre-printed materials to be fed through and then converts to sheets and delivers the end result into shingle or deep pile stacks. The unique feature of this new infinitely adjustable machine allows sheets to be cut into variable lengths, on the fly, without the need to change the tooling. It is primarily designed to convert digitally printed web but can be run in-line with almost any web fed machinery.

Edale Ltd will be in Hall 6, Stand D561. AGFA will be in Hall 11, Stand CD220.
